Video: Westchester Hit-And-Run Driver Leaves 76-Year-Old Man Hospitalized

A 76-year-old man in Westchester is in serious condition after being struck by a hit-and-run driver who was caught on camera.

Investigators in Yonkers are attempting to locate a hit-and-run driver.

The Yonkers Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of an SUV who struck a man at approximately 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of North Broadway and Moresemore Avenue.

In the video, the driver can be seen making a sharp left-hand turn, striking the pedestrian in the crosswalk. The driver temporarily slowed down before speeding away without stopping.

Anyone with information on the hit-and-run, or driver of the SUV, has been asked to contact detectives at the Yonkers Police Department by calling (914) 377-7724.
